Denver Dispensaries
Denver dispensaries serve various counties throughout the front-range area including the Boulder, Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Broomfield, Elbert, Clear Creek, and Gilpin regions. Residents of Larimer, Weld, Morgan, and the El Paso regions will find that the drive into Denver is a bit longer, but worth it for the quality of the dispensaries. Denver hosts 72 dispensaries in the metro area. Our purpose here will be to define which cities and counties in the Denver metro area have banned marijuana dispensaries, and which Denver dispensaries are located in or around those areas, in unbanned territory. I will also recommend some quality medical marijuana centers that are worth shopping at in the Denver area.
Estes Park, Loveland, Windsor, Greeley, Longmont, Dacono, Superior, Lafayette, Brighton, Thornton, Westminster, and most cities in between Denver and Colorado Springs (with the exception of Monument), have banned dispensaries. For quick access to medical cannabis there is one dispensary located in Louisville just south of Superior. As well, there are a cluster of dispensaries throughout Boulder. One dispensary is also located right outside of Lafayette, and south east of there, patients will find two marijuana centers in Northglenn. In Northern Colorado two dispensaries are established in Frederick, one dispensary is right outside of the North end of Longmont, one in Berthoud, and two in Garden City. For patients in Estes Park, three dispensaries exist in Lyons. Fort Collins has officially lifted its ban on medical marijuana centers, so, more options will be available to Northern Colorado patients in the future.
For residents of counties North East of Denver, we recommend ‘The Sanctuary’ on Race St., The Shelter on Jackson St (farther south), or ‘The Clinic’ on Colfax.  These are great places to visit from anybody in the Dacono, Brighton, Thornton, Westminster and the eastern Colorado areas. For northern and north western medical patients, we recommend ‘The Ridge’ in Wheat Ridge, or ‘The Clinic Highlands’. These dispensaries are easily accessible to patients in Longmont, Superior, Lafayette, and within an hour drive from Loveland, Windsor, or Greeley. Estes Park patients might find that the prices are worth the drive also (especially with Care-Giver benefits). South of Denver, patients will find quick access to a few dispensaries. We recommend making stops at ‘The Retreat’ on Colorado Blvd, ‘The Haven’ on Canosa Ct, ‘The Reserve’ on Adams, ‘The Clinic Colorado’ on Mexico, ‘The Clinic’ on Jewell, or ‘The Clinic’ on Wadsworth.
